COVID-19: Oke Seeks God's Intervention in The Holy Month of Ramadan

The Chairman of Imeko-Afon Local Government, Chief Olusola Oke has called on Muslim faithful to seek the face of Allah in this Month of Ramadan over the ravaging pandemic COVID-19.

While wishing Muslims in his local government and all over the world Ramadan Mubarak and welcoming them into the Holy Month, he enjoined them to use this period to pray for a cleansing of our land of all forms of plaque and diseases.

"It is unprecedented for us to start Ramadan without the usual activities that precedes it but the pandemic has made it difficult for us to gather at this time; nevertheless in our different homes, we should endeavour to pray to God to bring a quick end to this trying time" Oke remarked.

Oke further said the Stimulus Package of the Ogun State Government will significantly serve the Muslims in this fasting period. He assured residents of Imeko-Afon Local Government that the new batch of relief pack will reach those that didn't get during the first time. He charged the Ward Task Force in charge of sharing to be fair and just in their duties.
